A woman was found dead in a Dorchester home yesterday afternoon, according to the Boston Police Department. Police spokesman Eddy Chrispin said officers found the woman after responding to an anonymous call for a well-being check at a Bicknell Street address shortly before 4 p.m. Officers called for emergency medical services after discovering the woman was unresponsive.
